If you already know the materials for your garment, check key fabric properties like stretch, thickness, and drape. If you don’t have the materials yet - don't worry, similar fabric during the 3D fitting can be used.

Since each garment is made for a specific size, the main body measurements are needed - usually just bust, waist, and hips are enough.

You definitely need patterns! Paper patterns need to be digitised or scanned first. Digital patterns can be uploaded into the software right away, and then everything is ready to start building the garment.
